Selena Gomez is seemingly clarifying her relationship status.
Page Six reported that the 30-year-old celebrity noted in a since-deleted Instagram Story that she is single. It comes as claims have emerged, with sources alleging that she and Drew Taggart of The Chainsmokers are dating.
On Thursday, Gomez is said to have posted a black-and-white photo of the sky behind a mountain range. She wrote in the text, “I like being alone too much,” including the hashtag, “I am single.”
In its piece published Friday, Page Six included a screenshot of the reported story post from the social media platform. It added that the material was only up for a few minutes before the Disney Channel alum took it down.
The dating claims involving Selena Gomez and Drew Taggart first surfaced earlier this week.
Us Weekly reported Monday that a source spoke to them about the alleged relationship. As claimed, the two artists are “very casual and low-key,” adding that “they aren’t trying to hide their romance by sneaking around at members only clubs.”
The insider continued to the outlet that Gomez and Taggart “go bowling and to the movies” when they spend their time together. It is also stated that they are “having a lot of fun together.”
Following the claims at the time, though, the “Rare” artist and The Chainsmoker member, alongside their reps, did not address the matter.
On Tuesday, Page Six released a report, sharing photos it obtained from Selena Gomez and Drew Taggart's outing over the weekend. It noted that the two personalities were at The Gutter, a bowling alley in New York City.
An eyewitness also alleged that the “Lose You To Love Me” singer and the EDM artist were “making out” while enjoying some alone time from the outing, as per the publication.
In addition, the source told the outlet that “there was also a group of young girls that went up for pictures from her shortly after and a man getting an autograph.”
When asked for comment, however, it is said that a rep for the “Only Murders In The Building” actress did not immediately respond, while Taggart's had “no comment.”
Meanwhile, a source spoke to People at the time and pointed out that Selena Gomez and Drew Taggart were with “a group” during Sunday’s outing.
Similarly, though, reps for both artists did not immediately respond to the requests for comment, as per the magazine.
