Speculations are rife that Ryan Seacrest is suffering from the loss of vision due to Botox injections.
A tabloid recently published an article with a shocking headline “Fears Seacrest Is Going Blind!” The story emerged when some publications speculated about the health of the American Idol host after his fans fretted about his alleged health issues on social media.
Fans wondered if their favorite host had a stroke after some of his words sounded vague and he seemed to have problems with opening his eyes when a recent episode of the hit show was being aired. The report purported that there is a possibility of the host going blind after his alleged stroke on the show.
The magazine further insisted that Seacrest has been taking Botox injections amid the COVID-19 lockdown. This could have led to his possible vision impairment.
The publication got in touch with a supposed source who stated that the alleged vision loss could be a response to a Botox injection he had administered on his own because a majority of the cosmetic surgeons in Hollywood are closed amid the lockdown.
The outlet does not stop here and even quotes a plastic surgeon though the person did not treat Ryan Seacrest. The surgeon supposedly mentioned that when the injection is administered in the wrong manner, there could be “permanent consequences.” It could eventually end his TV career too.
Another physician who has also not treated the talk show host told the magazine that Seacrest appears to be in a serious situation. The doctor noted that his speech seems to have been affected and he could be also suffering from a neurological, metabolic, or toxic condition.
Although the report sounds quite scary, the story seems to be false. Rather, Seacrest has resumed his television projects and is presently working on a show called Live with Kelly and Ryan after he took a day off due to fatigue, EW.com reports.
Seacrest’s representative mentioned that the report of his health scare was false, as well as, “crazy.” Fans can relax because the anchor is not going blind and doing fine. Also, his TV career is not coming to an end contrary to what was reported.
Seacrest has been subjected to rumors on several occasions. There was a report last month that he was quitting Live with Kelly and Ryan and wanted to shift to LA. The dubious report claimed that he had a tight schedule between Idol and Live.
Hence, the popular host wanted to give up his project with Kelly Ripa and shift his base to Southern California instead of frequently traveling between NYC and LA. According to Gossip Cop, Ryan Seacrest is neither going blind and nor is he planning to relocate to Los Angeles.
