Things are reportedly new between Selena Gomez and Drew Taggart, which is why they are said to be “getting to know one another.”
A source spoke to Entertainment Tonight and discussed the claims involving the 30-year-old songstress and the 33-year-old artist. As stated, the two personalities “are dating,” adding that “things are still new” between them.
Gomez and Taggart allegedly “met through mutual friends,” although no further information was given regarding the first encounter except that it was “friendly” and “low-key.” Even so, it is claimed that they “had an instant connection and “liked each other as people” upon their first meeting.
The same source continued to the outlet that the “Only Murders In The Building” actress and The Chainsmokers member “have been talking” since they met each other, adding that the duo is “into each other.”
Moreover, Selena Gomez and Drew Taggart are reportedly “having so much fun getting to know one another.”
Following the claims, the outlet said it has reached out to the reps for the “Ice Cream” singer and EDM artist for comment. But, both parties have seemingly yet to make an official statement to address the latest reports.
News broke earlier this week that Selena Gomez and Drew Taggart are dating.
Us Weekly exclusively revealed the matter in a report, published Monday, after an insider spoke to them and shared details of the said ties.
As claimed, the Disney Channel alum and the “Roses” artist “aren’t trying to hide their romance by sneaking around at members only clubs," with the source adding that the two are “very casual and low-key.”
The same insider also told the publication that Taggart and Gomez go “to the movies” and “bowling” when they have outings and spend time together. She is reportedly “so affectionate” with him and “can hardly keep her hands off him.
It is added, as well, that both artists are “having a lot of fun together.”
A day after the dating claims surfaced, Page Six released a report about the matter, alongside photos it obtained of Selena Gomez and Drew Taggart in a recent outing in New York City.
The publication said the two artists appeared to have confirmed the romance speculations with their joint outing Sunday at a bowling alley.
An eyewitness also told the outlet that Taggart and Gomez were “making out” while enjoying their time together.
When asked for comment, though, Page Six shared that a rep for the “Lose You To Love Me” singer did not immediately respond, while the “Until You Were Gone” artist’s camp had “no comment."
