Victoria Beckham and David Beckham have allegedly decided to say goodbye to their property in Cotswolds due to the unbearable noise from the Soho Farmhouse.
In its Jan. 27 issue, Heat UK claimed that the Beckhams loved living in Cotswolds. But because of their children, they decided that it couldn’t be their permanent home.
“The Cotswolds pad was the dream rural retreat. They loved jumping into the car on a Friday and heading there for the weekend. They could just hang out in the countryside, stress-free. David, especially, loved being there, as he got to indulge his love of bees and farming – it was the perfect antidote to London,” the source said.
But the source also claimed that the property that the couple owned in Cotswold boasted of a security nightmare.
“They have a permanent on-site team, a guard cabin at the main entrance, and full CCTV monitoring inside, which is hugely expensive. They’ve had two break-ins – one where a gang in balaclavas attempted to gain entry – as well as other incidents. They now just feel like the risk level is too high,” the source said.
Additionally, the famous Soho Farmhouse has also doubled in size. In the past, the Beckhams allegedly enjoyed spending time there but now they no longer feel the same about the place.
“Plus, the expansion means more traffic going by their estate, and people trying to take a peek. It’s no longer the peaceful haven it was supposed to be,” the source said.
However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. There’s no proof that the Beckhams have decided to sell their property in Cotswolds or that they are leaving the neighborhood for good.
For now, the Beckhams have been doing back and forth between London and the United States for their engagements and other events.
Meanwhile, Victoria also made headlines recently amid claims that she and her daughter-in-law are still feuding. Multiple tabloids insisted that Nicola Peltz and Victoria just do not get along well with each other.
However, this is in stark contrast to what Peltz said about her mother-in-law. The model confirmed that there’s no bad blood between her and Victoria even if the latter wasn’t the one who designed her wedding gown.
