Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are still being slammed two weeks after the release of their Netflix documentary Harry & Meghan.
In its Dec. 26 issue, Globe claimed that Prince Harry and Markle wanted to use their documentary to reveal what really happened behind palace doors. But after everything that they said, it seems that the palace doors are locked for them forever.
A source claimed that no one from the royal family respects Prince Harry and Markle for the things that they did and say.
“Their so-called documentary is nothing more than a truth-twisting, cheap-shot, reality show – a devastating act of revenge against the royal family they seem to hate so much. This is a catastrophic assault not only on members of the family but the monarchy itself and the repercussions will be felt for years. The Sussexes are dead to the royals now,” the source said.
The source also claimed that Markle came up with a clear game plan before the release of Harry & Meghan. To preserve her connections with the royal family, she said that she wouldn’t have told their story in the way that the people at Netflix decided to do so.
“Meghan obviously had a clear game plan – blame the TV bosses for anything that upsets the royals. But insiders say she knew exactly what she was getting into and she and Harry promised in pitch meetings to hold nothing back,” the source said.
However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. It’s not true that Prince Harry and Markle’s documentary upset the royal family because no one knows if they’ve watched it.
And even if the royal family watched Harry & Meghan, no one knows for sure what they think about it because they are not at liberty to share their thoughts on the project.
As of late, there’s also no proof that Markle deliberately tried to put the blame on the director and producer of Harry & Meghan to save her connection with the royal family.
In the documentary, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex made it clear that they have already cut ties with The Firm. And it seems they made the right decision because they are happier and more at peace in the United States than in the United Kingdom.
