Britney Spears recently expressed how much she misses her sons, Sean Preston and Jayden.
Now, Heat UK is claiming that the teenagers are leveraging this moment by forcing Spears to choose between them or her husband, Sam Asghari.
A source claimed that Asghari doesn’t have an amicable relationship with Spears’ children.
“The boys are fiercely loyal to their dad, Kevin, so the day Sam decided to chew him out on social media was the day they were done with him. It’s so hard for everyone in Britney’s world to see her so vulnerable and off-kilter right now,” the source said.
The source added that Sean Preston and Jayden have always been open when it comes to reconciling with Spears. However, they made it clear that the singer needs to first have her mental health checked by a professional.
Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about Asghari because his stepsons do not want to have any relationship with him.
“They decided some time ago to give her space and stay away from her and Sam, who they find too critical of their dad. Unless Sam and Kevin found a way to be friends, the boys are very much backing their dad and reluctantly keeping their distance from all that dysfunction,” the source said.
However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. It’s not true that Spears’ sons are at odds with Asghari. There’s no indication that the trio ever had a falling out.
But it is possible for Sean Preston and Jayden to have felt something negative because Asghari threw shade at their dad on social media.
However, this doesn’t seem enough reason for the brothers to freeze out their stepdad.
Meanwhile, there’s also no proof that the teenagers are ready to forge a relationship with their mom. After all, it is true that they are fiercely loyal to their father.
As for Spears, it’s not surprising for the mom of two to miss her sons. After all, she has not seen them or spoken to them in many years.
Sean Preston and Jayden have been very clear about their condition before they start talking to Spears again. During a recent interview, one of the siblings said that they just want their mom to be well.
