The royal family allegedly had very different reactions to Harry & Meghan.

While speaking with New Idea, royal commentator Phil Dampier said that he thinks King Charles watched the docuseries. And it is highly likely that he became upset.

“The king is a very busy man, but I’m sure he wanted to watch and see what specific allegations the Sussexes made. He probably watched at the palace with his closest advisers around him. He must have been tearing what’s left of his hair out,” Dampier said.

And since King Charles became upset, Dampier said that he thinks Queen Consort Camilla did her best to comfort her husband.

“The queen consort knows to make herself scarce when Charles is feeling the pressure and probably watched with some of her ladies of the household in her sitting room. She also knows how to soothe her husband’s temper and no doubt popped in with a fortifying tipple,” the source said.

Dampier also said that if Middleton watched Harry & Meghan, she would’ve also felt upset. But instead of confronting her negative feelings, it seems that she just focused her energy on her children.

Prince William, on the other hand, must have watched Harry & Meghan privately or in the company of his wife. But regardless of where and when he watched it, he must have also left the room feeling upset with Prince Harry and Markle.

However, one should take Dampier’s claims with a grain of salt because it’s obvious that he’s just speculating. There’s no indication that the royal family watched Harry & Meghan.

And if they did, no one knows how they felt seeing the first three episodes of the docuseries. After all, they have never publicly reacted to Harry & Meghan and have not also appeared in any interviews.

Meanwhile, the first three episodes of Harry & Meghan centered on Prince Harry and Markle’s love story, as well as their issues with the paparazzi and the British media.

Across all three installments, Prince Harry and Markle made it clear that they didn’t want to experience the kind of life that Princess Diana lived. The Duke of Sussex also insisted that his mother tragically died while being chased by the paparazzi in Paris and he didn’t want the same thing to happen to his family.
