Kourtney Kardashian is sharing a positive update on her health months after stopping her and Travis Barker’s IVF journey.
On Thursday, the 43-year-old reality star told fans and followers on Instagram that she has “finally” begun getting her energy back “10 months after stopping IVF.”
Kardashian wrote the text on a photo of her treadmill workout, which she posted on her Stories on the platform. The snap seemingly focuses on the screen of the exercise equipment, showing that she ran three miles in 31 minutes and 31 seconds.
The Poosh founder also included in the text, “for anyone else going through it, it gets better!”
Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker have been open about their IVF journey, which they documented during the first season of “The Kardashians” on Hulu.
Entertainment Tonight recalled in a recent report, covering the social media update, that the reality star revealed in one of the episodes of the series how the medication had negative impacts on her.
As noted, in a conversation with her mother, Kris Jenner, at the time, Kardashian claimed that the medication she had been taking put her “into menopause” and “depression.”
At the time, Harper’s Bazaar released a report on the matter, detailing some of the other things the mom-of-three had said about her IVF journey with Travis Barker.
Citing Kourtney Kardashian’s statements in a confessional interview on “The Kardashians,” the publication said she does not think the treatment is helping her, adding that she also revealed how the process “has not been the most amazing experience” for her.
The outlet quoted the reality star, as well, from the confessional, saying in part, “I think because I'm so clean and careful with what I put into my body, it's just having the complete opposite reaction and is working as a contraceptive instead of helping us.”
A few months later, Kourtney Kardashian revealed in a new profile for WSJ. Magazine that she and Travis Barker had put their IVF journey on a halt.
The Poosh founder told the outlet that they “stopped,” adding that the process “was a lot.” She also shared that she “took a break to just focus on our wedding and getting married.”
Barker and Kardashian legally tied the knot in May 2022.
Meanwhile, the Blink-182 drummer also got candid about the IVF journey in an interview with GQ, published in November.
The artist told the publication that he does not “give a f***” about being open with the public, and has “never been fazed by any of that.” He also noted that he does not “care if I’m c***ing in a cup, or whatever,” adding that “it’s real life.”
