The second annual royal Christmas carol service will see Kate Middleton with members of the British Royal Family, including King Charles III and Queen Consort Camilla.
People said in a recent report that the King and Queen Consort will join the Princess of Wales for this year’s “Royal Carols: Together At Christmas” at Westminster Abbey, citing a recent release from Buckingham Palace.
The release also noted that the festive event, which the Duchess of Cornwall and Cambridge organized alongside the Royal Foundation, will bring attendees and guests together to “celebrate the joy that human connection can bring,” as per the magazine.
Tatler, in a recent rundown of details about the royal Christmas carol service, also said Prince William, King Charles III, and Queen Consort Camilly will be in attendance, citing confirmation from Kensington Palace. It noted, though, that other members of the British Royal Family will likely attend, as well.
Several British Royals joined Kate Middleton in the first Christmas carol service last year. These include Sophie, Countess of Wessex, Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie, Zara Tindall, and Mike Tindall.
Also, it is said that the future Queen Consort’s parents were present at the event, with the outlet noting that it marked one of the few occasions when both sides of her family have come together for a public event.
The publication continued in its piece, published Tuesday, that the upcoming service will see performances from some personalities. As stated, these include Samantha Barks, Alfie Boe, and Melanie C., adding that there will also be readings from Prince William, Dame Kristin Scott Thomas, and Hugh Bonneville.
The upcoming event marks the second time that Kate Middleton will host a royal Christmas carol service.
In 2021, the Princess of Wales hosted the first “Royal Carols,” which honored and paid tribute to individuals and organizations across the United Kingdom who supported their communities amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Harper’s Bazaar recalled in a report, published earlier in November, that it was when the then-Duchess of Cambridge surprised the public with her piano performance. She treated attendees, guests, and viewers to her musical talent for the first time when she accompanied Tom Walker in his performance of “For Those Who Can’t Be Here.”
Meanwhile, this year’s “Royal Carols: Together At Christmas” is dedicated to Queen Elizabeth II, alongside the values she “demonstrated throughout her life, including duty, empathy, faith, service, kindness, compassion, and support for others,” as per a release from Kensington Palace, according to Express UK.
The release added that “these principles are shared and personified by the inspirational guests who have been invited to the Abbey in recognition of their tireless work to help and care for those around them.”
The second “Royal Carols: Together At Christmas” will take place at Westminster Abbey on December 15, 2022.
