Jennifer Aniston is still navigating the loss of her dad, John Aniston.
After years of being estranged from each other, Aniston decided to reconcile with her dad during the COVID-19 pandemic. But it didn’t take long before the Friends star found herself saying goodbye to John for good.
Now, Star is claiming that Aniston is trying her best to come to terms with her grief. And it has been a realization for the actress that she’s now an orphan because both her parents have already died.
“Jen is trying to process her grief. It’s very difficult to deal with this awful realization that she’s now orphaned and won’t have her dad to turn to anymore,” the source said.
During her interview with Allure, Aniston admitted that for many years, she struggled with the effects of living in a toxic environment with her late mother, Nancy Dow.
Following Dow’s divorce from John, Aniston claimed that her mom became very critical and she would also hold a grudge.
The Morning Show actress lived with Dow for years after John left them, but the mother and daughter eventually had a falling out after Dow publicly criticized Aniston.
But before she died, Aniston and Dow patched things up and that’s also what Aniston did with her late father.
Meanwhile, Aniston also made headlines recently amid reports that she has a close friendship with Sandra Bullock.
According to Life & Style, one of Aniston’s goals is to star in a movie alongside Bullock. And the latter also feels the same way.
“Jen and Sandra’s relationship usually goes under the radar, but these two have one of Hollywood’s most lasting friendships. They know they can rely on each other for advice – career or personal – and there’s no BS. They have a really tight bond and will be friends forever,” the source said.
However, one should still take the tabloids’ claims with a grain of salt.
Even if it’s true that Aniston is still navigating the loss of her dad, it’s unclear what her thoughts are when it comes to being an orphan.
And even if it’s also possible that Aniston and Bullock are really close, it’s unclear why the tabloid chose to highlight this story about the A-listers because they won’t be starring in a project anytime soon.
