In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, the “Modern Family” alums revealed their thoughts about their new show, “Bumper in Berlin,” which is a spin-off of the “Pitch Perfect” film series. They also talked about their time working together again, especially the 32-year-old actress.
Hyland shared in the exchange that “it was so much fun being back together.” She also revealed that she “just jumped at it” upon receiving the “opportunity to work with Adam again,” adding that it is “because we love each other.”
Elsewhere in the interview, published Wednesday, The “Geek Charming” actress stated she is “happy to be part of the franchise.” She noted that she has “been friends with everyone from it for years.”

Speaking to the publication, published Wednesday, Sarah Hyland herself revealed that she was “sad” about the way their characters’ relationship ended, adding that she was also “a big fan of ‘Handy’ (Haley + Andy).”
Even so, the actress is said to have stated that she is “so happy” that she and Devine “get to possibly will-they-won’t-they” in their new series. This then reportedly led the actor to assert during the same exchange: “Let’s do it all over again!”
“Bumper in Berlin” sees Adam Devine reprising his “Pitch Perfect” role as Bumper Allen. It follows the life of his character ten years after college, working as a security guard while singing a cappella as a part-time hobby, according to the Daily Mail.
The plot reportedly moves forward as he receives a phone call from an old acquaintance. This leads him to convince himself that he can pursue his dreams of becoming a pop star by moving to Berlin.
Meanwhile, Sarah Hyland’s character, Heidi, is said to be a “charming,” “ambitious” personality, working as a personal assistant to a music manager in Germany.
“Bumper in Berlin,” which houses six episodes for its pilot run, is now available for streaming on Peacock.
