Emily Blunt and John Krasinski appeared to have allowed their two daughters to watch some of their on-screen projects. She also shared what their children thought about them being actors during a recent engagement.

Speaking to E! News for an exclusive interview, the 39-year-old actress said her two children have already seen some of her and her husband’s work on screen. These include “Mary Poppins Returns” and “Jungle Cruise,” with the celebrity adding that their daughters have also “seen some of ‘The Office,’ which they liked a lot.”

While their little young ones seemingly enjoyed some of their films and series, Blunt told the outlet that their kids, aged 6 and 8, “don’t really want to watch us on screen.” She explained that “they’ve got that ownership of us as parents,” adding that “they’re not like running to see me in a movie,” which she said keeps her “humble.”

Emily Blunt played the titular role of Mary Poppins in the 2018 live-action musical title, serving as a sequel to the original film from 1964. Lin-Manuel Miranda starred opposite her as Jack.

As for the 2021 film “Jungle Cruise,” which is one of her latest works, the “Devil Wears Prada” star played the role of Lily, starring alongside Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

Meanwhile, Blunt’s husband of more than a decade, John Krasinski, played the role of Jim Halpert in the NBC sitcom, “The Office.” The material, which premiered in 2005, ran for nine seasons on the platform.

In July, the “Jack Ryan” star revealed to Jimmy Fallon during an appearance on “The Tonight Show” that his and Emily Blunt’s children had “never seen anything I’ve done” until “DC League of Super-Pets,” which premiered during the same month.

During the exchange, the talk show host asked John Krasinski whether his children had already seen the animated film, in which he lent his voice to the character of Superman. He revealed they had, adding that his kids "loved it,” and “were laughing very, very hard.”

The “Quiet Place” director also told Fallon, “I think up until now they didn’t believe I actually was in the business.” He consequently shared a joke, saying, “They were like, ‘Wow, you’re not an accountant.’”

Emily Blunt and John Krasinski began dating in 2008. Us Weekly says in a report that the two celebrities met through a mutual friend.

In August of the following year, the “Quiet Place” stars got engaged. They did not tie the knot until July 2010.

Krasinski and Blunt had their first daughter nearly four years after they wedded. They welcomed their second child two years later in 2016.
