A royal expert believes that it is implausible for Kate Middleton to appear on an episode of Meghan Markle’s podcast, “Archetypes.”
Express UK said the latest claims were from its royal correspondent, Richard Palmer. As noted, he recently spoke to “Royal Round Up,” wherein he was asked whether the future Queen Consort will feature in the former working royal’s podcast.
The expert is said to have shared in the exchange that he does not think the new Princess of Wales will make an appearance on the podcast, citing the current status of her relationship with the Duchess of Sussex.
The publication, in its report covering the matter, quoted Palmer from the engagement, saying, “I don’t think so. I don’t get the impression that there is much of a relationship there between them at the moment.”
While the royal correspondent reportedly believes that the dynamic between Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton will “maybe” change, he is said to have claimed that “the signs are the relations are still pretty strained.”
Earlier this month, royal expert Neil Sean had learned from a “good source” that the former working royal previously “put out a request” to the Duchess of Cornwall and Cambridge to appear on her podcast, “Archetypes.”
At the time, Express UK reported that the expert talked about the matter in an episode on his YouTube Channel, with him noting that the Duchess of Sussex allegedly made the request when she was in the United Kingdom, “staying in Windsor at their [Frogmore] cottage.”
Sean was said to have told his viewers that “it, kind of, makes sense,” adding that Meghan Markle’s team reportedly felt it was a “good move,” especially in terms of the ratings, although their camp has allegedly yet to “hear back” from Kate Middleton.
Both parties have not released any official statement confirming or denying the reports. It remains unclear whether the former actress did indeed send her sister-in-law an invite to her podcast.
Elsewhere in the report from Express UK, published Friday, Richard Palmer is said to have shared an insight into the relationship between the Sussexes and the rest of the British Royal Family.
He reportedly stated that the royals, including Kate Middleton and Prince William, “had quite a lot of sympathy” for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle when it comes to “some of their frustrations” during their time as working royals.
The royal correspondent also noted in the exchange with “Royal Round Up” that he does not think the British Royals “were completely uncaring about their concerns,” adding, “Not at all - far from it,” as per the publication.
