Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady’s failed marriage cannot allegedly be blamed solely on the football star.
In its Nov. 14 issue, In Touch Weekly claimed that Bundchen’s male pal is well-established.
“He works for a consulting group that Gisele’s company has been using. He’s in his mid-40s and is very successful. Nothing romantic happened between them, but Gisele has been venting to him and leaning on him emotionally. He and Gisele would get together for lunch, and they text regularly. In many ways, that was the final straw,” the source said.
Throughout the past couple of months, Bundchen and Brady’s issues were pinned solely on the latter’s refusal to quit football. Brady previously announced his retirement from the sport but he had a change of heart days later.
His decision to unretire reportedly took a toll on his marriage, especially since Bundchen was hoping that Brady could finally spend more time with their family.
“Gisele absolutely despised Tom playing football. The fact that he was away for half the year, traveling, leaving her to look after the kids alone… She was at the breaking point, and it led to several screaming matches,” the source said.
The source also claimed that Brady asked for a compromise from Bundchen. He told his ex-wife that he will retire from football in two years and asked if she could wait for her a bit longer, but the model refused.
“They argued nonstop about him renewing his contract. They were going around in circles. Fighting, marriage counseling, and then arguing again. It was only a matter of time. They were living separate lives,” the source said.
The source ended its dubious claims by posing a question as to whether Brady or Bundchen became unfaithful toward the other. However, the source also said that only A-listers know the answer to the question.
While it is true that Bundchen and Brady have decided to call it quits, there’s no proof that the model has been confiding her feelings to a male friend.
It’s not also true that Brady asked Bundchen if they could reach a compromise. What’s more likely is that the football star couldn’t tell his ex-wife when exactly he planned on retiring. So, in the end, they just decided to go their separate ways.
Luckily, Bundchen and Brady have agreed to stay friends following their divorce.
