Meghan Markle has received so much hate from her critics ever since it was reported that she’s dating Prince Harry.

According to Gossip Cop, the negative reports about Markle started after the public found out details about her marriage to Trevor Engelson.

In 2013, the Suits alum and the Hollywood producer divorced after just two years of marriage. And royal author Andrew Morton wrote in the book, Meghan: A Hollywood Princess that Markle just dumped Engelson out of nowhere.

The royal author also claimed that Markle returned her engagement ring and wedding ring back to her ex-husband via mail. Following the reports, royal fans seemingly came up with the idea that Markle is the type that cuts people off without any explanation.

Before Prince Harry and Markle tied the knot in 2018, the latter’s father, Thomas Markle Sr. was involved in a major controversy. The former lighting director, reportedly, posed for a series of fake photographs for Daily Mail.

Shortly after the incident, reports claimed that Prince Harry and Markle cut ties with Thomas. The 75-year-old then held a series of interviews where he slammed his daughter and son-in-law.

Critics of Markle accused her of being harsh when it comes to dealing with her dad. And the accusations against the Duchess of Sussex worsened after it was revealed that Thomas was the one that sent Markle to school.

Reports also claimed that Markle grew up under the care of her dad since her mom, Doria Ragland was busy with her work. Markle’s parents also separated when she was still very young.

Earlier this year, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced their decision to quit the royal family. The royal couple said that they want to be financially independent of The Firm. They also said that they want to be private citizens.

However, the royal couple’s critics saw the bold move as selfishness. They said that Markle was trained to become a member of the royal family but she just threw everything to waste.

Some critics are also blaming Markle for the current state of the royal family. There are claims that she’s the one that encouraged Prince Harry to leave his family back in the United Kingdom.

Markle has also been accused of starting a fight with Kate Middleton and Prince William. However, most of these claims haven’t been confirmed by the Duchess of Sussex.

The publication concluded their article by saying that there hasn’t been any evidence that can confirm that allegations against Markle.
