Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are a target of a slew of new books released by royal authors following Queen Elizabeth's death.
In its Oct. 17 issue, Globe claimed that some of the allegations against Markle and Prince Harry were due to the fact that the former played the royal family and controlled the Duke of Sussex.
“The feeling is Meghan played the royals. John Lennon and Yoko Ono all over again. Meghan’s in control and Harry has to grin and bear it,” the source said.
The tabloid also enumerated the recent allegations directed at the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
In the book Courtiers: The Hidden Power Behind the Crown, author Valentine Low claimed that Markle was very mean to her staffers. And they were so traumatized by her that came up with a group called the Sussex Survivors’ Club.
Prior to this, Markle was also accused of bullying palace staffers. An investigation into the matter took place earlier this year but the results were never released to the public.
So, it’s unclear if the royal family found out that the bullying allegations were true or if the accusers were proven to have made up their allegations.
Other than claims of bullying, Markle was also accused of threatening to leave Prince Harry if he didn’t make their relationship public.
And then there are also reports claiming that Markle acted rudely and offensively toward palace staffers ahead of her royal wedding because she was already panicking.
Some of these allegations have already been denied by Markle, but others she and Prince Harry have yet to address. As such, it is expected that more people will come forward with their own version of events.
But it is important to note what Queen Elizabeth said when she was still alive. The late monarch said that some recollections may vary, and this also applies to Prince Harry and his wife.
For now, the only opportunity for Markle to clear his name is through her husband’s memoir, which will reportedly be released on Easter.
The memoir will include a chapter on the queen’s funeral, as well as the things that Prince Harry and Markle experienced when they returned to the United Kingdom last month.
Markle also has a podcast but the upcoming episodes were taped before the queen’s death.
