Brad Pitt has allegedly been leading a very lonely life because he has not been able to see his children.
An unnamed source told Life & Style that in order to stop himself from feeling lonely, Pitt decided to accept projects left and right. This way, his work can help him fill the void of missing his kids too much.
“Brad’s lonely and misses his kids, which is why he’s filling the void with so many projects. He rarely sees them. Sometimes months will go by. He will get a text every now and then from Shiloh or Zahara, but it’s not enough,” the source said.
However, it seems that the tabloid just took Pitt’s recent words out of context. During an interview, Pitt said that he has been contemplating the things that he did wrong in his previous relationships. He also said that he decided to take ownership of his mistakes.
“It’s about, you know, where have I gotten it wrong in my relationships? Where have I misstepped? Where am I complicit? It was borne out of ownership of really what I call a radical inventory of self, getting really, brutally honest with me and taking account of those I may have hurt…” he said.
However, Pitt never said anything about being lonely. And he did not also mention his children when he opened up about taking ownership of his relationships.
It’s not also new that Pitt hasn’t been allowed to see his kids as often as he would’ve liked. After all, his custody battle with his ex-wife, Angelina Jolie is far from over.
In fact, months ago, a source claimed that Pitt is aware that Jolie is stalling their custody proceedings. So, by the time all their children reach 18 years old, they can decide whether they want to see their dad or not.
Meanwhile, Pitt also made headlines recently amid claims that he and Jolie started their affair while the actor was still married to Jennifer Aniston.
The speculations became rife after a former magazine executive revealed that Jolie informed them where they could find her and Pitt years ago. So, a beach photo of the couple with Maddox was published online.
However, at the time, Pitt was still married to Aniston.
