Lily Collins revealed how supportive her husband has been since the start of the shooting for “Emily In Paris” Season 3.
On Instagram, the 33-year-old actress posted Wednesday a photo of a handwritten note from Charlie McDowell, seemingly marking the conclusion of the filming for the third installment of the Netflix series.
It appears that she received the message on the first day of shooting as her husband wished her luck for it. The note from the photo reads, “Have a great first day, Emily. You show those high heels who’s boss! [Heart] C”
People, in its recent report covering the social media update, noted that Lily Collins made the post on Instagram on the last day of the filming.
Aside from including the photo in its report, the magazine also quoted the “Emily In Paris” star’s caption for her Story, writing, “From the first day until the last day, thank you for supporting and encouraging me through another season @CharlieMcDowell. It’s almost time to hang up the heels again.”
It continues, “Happy last day to our incredibly dedicated @EmilyinParis crew. Amazing family of a cast and my happy exhausted feet.”
On the same day, Lily Collins also posted a series of pictures from the set of “Emily in Paris” Season 3. She took them to Instagram using her official account, “lilyjcollins,” and included a lengthy caption in honor of their final day filming the installment.
The “Love, Rosie” actress shared that “words can’t express how many emotions” she feels when she wraps up each season of the Netflix show, “and this year is no different.” She also stated that they have the “best, most dedicated crew” and “a cast I can call a family.”
Collins later thanked everyone from the production “for supporting, uplifting, and encouraging endlessly and working tirelessly to make it all happen.” She consequently said she "can't wait to share" their new creation, adding that “proud doesn’t even do it justice.”
The “Windfall” star concluded the post with “Je vous aime tous,” which People said to be French for “I love you all.”
Lily Collins’ social media updates come after Netflix announced the official release date for “Emily In Paris” Season 3.
The streaming giant confirmed during the Tudum: A Netflix Global Fan Event Saturday that the newest installment will drop on the platform on December 21, according to E! News.
The publication also recalled that Netflix released the teaser trailer and first look images for the third season days prior to the event.
