Matthew Perry has had plenty of time to focus on himself so he now wants to be set up on dates.

Globe, in its Oct. 3 issue, claimed that Perry’s appearance and disposition seemed to change in recent months. Not only does the Friends star look better, but he also seems happier and healthier.

A source claimed that Perry also reached out to some of his friends to ask for help in finding someone that he could date. In the past, there were claims that Perry avoided any opportunity to hang out with his pals.

“Matt’s feeling and looking better than he has in months, and he’s asking friends to set him up on dates. He’s finally ready to open his heart again. The great news is he’s lost a decent amount of weight, cut back on smoking, and other bad habits, and had a full head-to-toe makeover that’s resulted in him looking fantastic,” the source said.

The source claimed that Perry’s weight loss became evident when he went to the US Open recently. The actor’s complexion also looked better because photos showed his cheeks looking as rosy as ever.

But even though Perry seems to be taking good care of himself, the tabloid still claimed that the challenge remains the same for the actor. Over the years, he has lost and gained weight, so it’s important that he sustains it this time around.

“While his new look and attitude are very encouraging, Matt’s biggest challenge has always been how to sustain positive energy. Everyone’s keeping their fingers crossed for him,” the source said.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. It’s not true that Perry has been asking his friends for help in finding a woman to date.

If the actor wanted to go back to the dating scene, he can do this on his own. He doesn’t need his friends to back him up.

And the actor’s dating life isn’t dependent on how much weight he’s gained or lost. This seems too trivial. And it is also important to note that when Perry was in a relationship with his ex-fiancée, he was still on the heavy side and they were in a relationship for years.

Unfortunately, the exes had to call off their engagement during the pandemic.
