Kim Kardashian hinted at not being in a rush to get back to the dating scene. She also shared that she is “not looking for anything” weeks after her split with Pete Davidson.
People said that the 41-year-old reality star had relationship-related conversations with Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest on Monday’s episode of “Live with Kelly and Ryan.” It came after the talk show hosts raised some questions about her love life.
When asked about the potential partner she ultimately sees herself with, Kardashian noted that there is “absolutely no one.”
Ripa consequently reportedly advised her to “stay off dating apps” now that she is single. But, the SKIMS founder revealed that it “was not even an option” for her.
The “All My Children” alum, nevertheless, is said to have suggested that Kim Kardashian needs a “titan of industry.” As reported, she explained that the reality star is one and that is what she needs, adding that “it is a very small field but he’s out there, sitting here, watching this.”
This reportedly led the “Kardashians” star to point out what she previously shared: dating someone outside the entertainment industry. However, she argued that she is not ready to date yet.
People quoted Kardashian, reportedly saying, “I did say before, maybe I should try to date a doctor or a scientist. So, maybe a bunch of attorneys or scientists would reach out. But, I’m just not ready.”
Elsewhere in the exchange, the SKIMS founder emphasized that she is “not looking for anything.” She asserted that she “really just needs to be by [herself] and focus and finish school, and spend time with [her] kids.”
Earlier this month, Kim Kardashian told James Cordon the same thing about dating. She revealed that she has not thought about it because she is not looking for anyone, according to E! News.
The conversation between the reality star and the talk show host occurred during an appearance on “The Late Late Show.” At the time, she also confirmed that she was “happily single.”
It all comes weeks after Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson ended their months-long romance. News broke earlier in August that they broke up and decided to be friends.
Sources close to the reality star and the “Saturday Night Live” alum exclusive told E! News that the pair has “a lot of love and respect for each other.”
However, their demanding schedules, on top of their long-distance romance, reportedly “made it really difficult” for them to maintain their relationship.
Despite the split, though, reports claimed that the divorce with Kanye West continues to move forward. But, they are said to be, nevertheless, “happily co-parenting” their four children.
