George Clooney was not able to see his two children, Alexander and Ella for 60 straight days because he was busy promoting his new movie, Ticket to Paradise.
An unnamed source told New Idea that Clooney missed his two kids a lot especially since this was one of the few times that he was away from them.
The doting dad to his twins had the opportunity to spend as much time as he could with Alexander and Ella during the pandemic.
But after things slowly returned to normal, Clooney became busy with his work.
The source said that it’s no surprise that Clooney’s kids are excited to have him back at home in Los Angeles. And the actor’s first photo with his wife and kids in months was also published by the tabloid.
“Both kids couldn’t take their eyes off their papa – it was so sweet. You can tell they adore him and he was doting on both of them and Amal,” the source said.
The insider also claimed that Alexander and Ella cannot join their dad in promoting his movie because they are already in school. So, it was important that they stick to their daily routines.
“George can’t stand being away from his kids and likes them all to be under the same roof as he is. It’s his protective bear instincts coming out but he’d give it all up for Amal and those kids. He’s never been this content and happy in his life,” the source said.
However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. It’s not true that Clooney was not able to see his kids for 60 straight days because he was promoting Ticket to Paradise.
The tabloid even posted photos of Clooney with his wife and children, which proves that their claims contradicted each other.
Even though Clooney’s kids are already in school, it was their summer break when their dad promoted his movie. So, they were with him every step of the way.
Clooney’s wife, Amal also joined him on tour even though she has a busy schedule herself. Amal works as a human rights lawyer, and Clooney is very proud of what his wife has achieved.
So, it’s not true that Clooney was too focused on his movie that he forgot to spend time with his family.
