The royal family has been making public appearances to pay their final respects to Queen Elizabeth. And it seems they are all getting along.
But according to In Touch Weekly, this isn’t necessarily the case. Behind closed doors, Camilla Parker Bowles and Kate Middleton allegedly clashed with each other. And not everyone was welcomed by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
“Instead of the tragedy bringing the royal family together, it tore them apart even more,” the source said.
The source also claimed that Prince William had the opportunity to talk to the queen before she passed away. And she told her grandson something important.
“William got to spend some final moments with the queen before she passed, and she uttered final words to him that left him shaken. She told him he deserved to be king. She may have meant one day in the future after Charles dies, but when William shared with his father what the queen said to him, Charles felt threatened,” the source said.
The news allegedly broke King Charles’ heart especially since he has been waiting for the day to be crowned the monarch. And even though he got the role by default, he was upset to know that he didn’t have the queen’s support.
“Charles was already feeling insecure because William and Kate have a squeaky-clean past, and they’ve long outshone Charles – who hurt Diana deeply – in popularity,” the source said.
As for Camilla and Middleton, there was allegedly some power tripping between the two. But now that Camilla is styled as queen consort, she showed her daughter-in-law who’s the real boss.
“Apparently, she showed Kate who’s boss by taking over some of her royal duties. Kate was upset, but she knows from the queen’s example that one must keep calm and carry on,” the source said.
However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. There’s no proof that Camilla and Middleton feuded after the queen’s death. And it’s not true that King Charles doesn’t have his mother’s support.
All of these claims are just made by the tabloid to pit the members of the royal family against each other.
But if there was a time when the British clan showed strong unity then it was in this moment after the queen passed away.
