The royal family allegedly predicted Queen Elizabeth’s passing that’s why they made several adjustments to be closer to her.
For instance, Prince William and Kate Middleton just relocated to Adelaide Cottage to be closer to Her Majesty. And several members of the royal family also visited her regularly in Balmoral.
Prior to her death, the queen already stripped down her royal duties, and she passed them on to her successor, King Charles III. Of course, Prince William and Middleton were also there to support her until her final breath.
Before she died, Globe claimed that the unusual visits to Balmoral by the royal family were more than enough proof that they were worried about the monarch.
“She was barely able to walk and stand on the palace balcony to view the Jubilee parades and it looked like that would be the last time she would do that,” the source said.
The source also claimed that even though the queen was 96 when she died, the royal family still struggled to accept the fact that she was no longer around. In fact, they also had a hard time saying goodbye to her and some were unable to get in her good graces.
Meanwhile, King Charles III released a touching statement following the queen’s passing.
“The death of my beloved Mother, Her Majesty The Queen, is a moment of the greatest sadness for me and all members of my family. We mourn profoundly the passing of a cherished Sovereign and a much-loved Mother. I know her loss will be deeply felt throughout the country, the Realms, and the Commonwealth, and by countless people around the world. During this period of mourning and change, my family and I will be comforted and sustained by our knowledge of the respect and deep affection in which The Queen was so widely held,” he said.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle also honored the queen by uploading a statement on the Archewell website.
Sarah Ferguson also released a statement following her former mother-in-law’s passing. And she revealed that even after her divorce from Prince Andrew, the queen maintained a close relationship with her.
The entire world is mourning the queen’s passing. And it seems royal fans in the UK will have the opportunity to pay their respects to her during her state funeral at Westminster Abbey.
