Ben Affleck has allegedly become more in tune with his feeling ever since he started going to therapy. So, during his honeymoon with Jennifer Lopez, Affleck allegedly poured out his feelings following a shocking breakdown.
Woman's Day's source claimed that Affleck and Lopez got into a fight during their honeymoon and the actor struggled to control his emotions.
“Don’t get me wrong, Ben still feels like the luckiest guy in the world having married Jen, but last week, all the excitement got on top of him and he had a bit of a breakdown. The old Ben wouldn’t have been able to open up but all his work with therapists has allowed him to really sit with his feelings,” the source said.
The source said that recent photos of Affleck showed him crying while talking to Lopez and it was allegedly because of the minor fight that they had. On top of this, Affleck was also feeling exhausted because of their wedding that took place so suddenly.
“He was just so tired from the wedding, the traveling, and the house hunting that it all got on top of him and he had a bit of an outburst. She was shocked to see him so upset. In the end, he went home for a big rest and she continued her summer break with her manager,” the source said.
However, the source also claimed that even though Lopez and Affleck are two of the biggest names in Hollywood, they are just like any other couple that gets into fights and then makes up.
So, after Affleck’s breakdown, he allegedly returned to Los Angeles to reconcile with his wife.
However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. As of late, there’s no proof that Affleck had a breakdown during or even after his honeymoon.
There’s no way for the actor to have been tired after his wedding because he and Lopez just had a small ceremony in Las Vegas.
It’s not also true that the couple separated shortly after Affleck had a breakdown. In fact, the couple was just spotted canoodling with each other in Los Angeles.
Lopez and Affleck also dined with their children at a café in the area. And it’s evident that everything is going well for the newlyweds.
