Meghan Markle has been accused of manipulating and controlling Prince Harry throughout the past couple of years. And now, a new story about the couple emerged after the Duke of Sussex shared his thoughts on the political climate in the United States.
A source told Globe that Prince Harry’s recent comments proved that his wife is the one controlling him.
“Harry’s become nothing more than Meghan’s mouthpiece and puppet. He’s being destroyed in front of our eyes. Driven by her thirst for money and power, she clearly pulls his strings and calls the shots. We’re told it’s all part of her secret agenda to get herself elected to Washington and even into the White House. There appears no end to her blind ambitions,” the source said.
A second palace source expressed their concern about what has become of Prince Harry ever since he quit his royal duties and relocated to the United States. They said that Prince Harry became like a ventriloquist who spewed talking points given to him by Markle.
The royal family is also, allegedly, worried about what Prince Harry’s comments might do to the monarchy. After all, even though Prince Harry is no longer considered a senior working royal, he’s still related to the royal family by blood.
And his comments might cause tensions between the United States and the United Kingdom.
“But he keeps thumbing his nose at his family’s rules – apparently at Meghan’s urging. The couple seems to have forgotten that without his royal connection they are nothing. Let’s face it, Meghan is royal only by marriage. The feeling in the palace is the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are living in their own fantasy bubble and we wish someone would pop it,” the source said.
However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. As of late, there’s no proof that Markle has been controlling and treating Prince Harry like a puppet.
This has been a common storyline among all the tabloids that seem to have been putting all the blame on the Duchess of Sussex.
But royal fans that were able to hear Prince Harry’s comments would know that he didn’t mean any harm. As such, it’s also unlikely for the royal family to be worried about the impact that his statements could have on the British monarchy.
