In 2019, Beyonce entered into a key agreement with the renowned sportswear brand Adidas. Thus, she was the latest to join other celebrities such as Kanye West and Pharell Williams, who have already collaborated with the brand.
Kasper Rorsted, the Chief Executive Officer of Adidas shared the news of the immediate sell-out of the singer’s Ivy Park Line ever since its release in January this year, according to CNN Business. Rorsted said so while discussing the company’s financial performance with the analysts and investors.
The CEO confirmed that the brand would continue to launch her apparel or footwear throughout the current year. The Grammy award-winning singer has been incredibly creative for generating a high demand in the market for her new Adidas line.
The singer’s teasers on her official Instagram page has also managed to win half the battle. For instance, her release debate on the Instagram page created a lot of interest, and so did the photos of Adidas’ logo that she had uploaded.
The line came to the stores a day ahead of the planned date and her fans went crazy. They took to Twitter continuously and were discussing her gear continuously thus making one of the top trending topics on social media.
Rorsted was also full of praises for the singer and referred to her as one of the world’s “most influential female entertainers” today. He also pointed out that a major part of the focus of Adidas in 2020 will be on female customers.
Even before a sketch or picture of the singer’s new collection for Adidas could release, it was certain that it would do extraordinarily well. That’s what happened precisely after the Ivy Park Collection was launched in the market.
According to Forbes, the singer wanted her line to be meant for both male and female consumers. Thus, her capsule collection was entirely gender-neutral.
The collection ranges from accessories to sneakers and apparel, which are available in XS to XL sizes. Consumers can choose from sports bras, tights, tees, biker shorts, hoodies, and more.
Beyonce has mentioned in one of the press releases that her team has slogged a lot along with the team of Adidas to give shape to her maiden collection. She added that she feels proud and grateful towards her team for the effort.
