Surviving social isolation could prove to be an arduous task, particularly for adventure junkies who do not fancy spending their day sitting inside their homes. Much to the relief of people feeling stuck at home; Pluto TV launched a One Day at a Time pop-up channel at 10 pm ET on Tuesday, Mar. 24.

Restricting the spread of the Coronavirus includes not stepping outside your home, unless unavoidable. Aside from working from home, people are likely to spend a lot of time watching something on your PCs, smart TVs or mobile phones. However, those on a tight budget might understandably avoid spending a lot of money on a subscription for Amazon Prime Video, Netflix or even Disney Plus.

Much to their delight, there is a myriad of legal streaming services that offer engaging content without requiring you to shell out a single dime. Pluto TV is touted as one of the best among the mentioned streaming services that made its debut back in 2014 in the form of a beta version.

Unlike most streaming services, Pluto TV offers free access to more than a whopping 250 channels featuring content that can be accessed live all day and all night. The announcement of One Day at a Time's new season follows the "ODAAT" Season 4 reboot that was aired on Pop TV. You can watch the reruns for free on the ad-supported service on channel 421, according to a report from Variety.

The popular comedy web TV series draws inspiration from Norman Lear's sitcom bearing the same moniker. More than nine seasons of One Day at a Time was aired on CBS between 1975 and 1984 with Bonnie Franklin portraying a divorced single mom who is raising two teen daughters, played by Mackenzie Phillips and Mackenzie Phillips. The sitcom also featured Pat Harrington Jr., who played Dwayne Schneider, a building superintendent.

The ViacomCBS-owned Pluto TV gained exclusive streaming rights to the original series of "One Day at a Time” from Sony Pictures Television, but only for a limited period. Starting March 24th, the channel will be streaming episodes from the first to the sixth seasons.

Moreover, the pop-up channel will air a few episodes "All in the Family," one of Lier's most well-received sitcom television series for over a whopping 165 hours of the two shows. You can download the Pluto TV app for iOS, as well as Android devices. Furthermore, Pluto TV is also available via an app for Amazon devices and on the internet at www.pluto.tv.
