Jon Bon Jovi reportedly supports his son Jake Bongiovi’s relationship with Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown.
The singer’s frontman told Hollywood Life that Bongiovi’s mom also supports the relationship.
“A lot of people believe that Jake and Millie are just experiencing young puppy love and that it won’t last, but Jake’s parents know that it can last because they were the same ages as Jake and Millie when they started dating in 1980,” the source said.
An insider also told the magazine that Brown already met her boyfriend’s entire family, and she gets along well with them.
“Millie has met Jake’s entire family and they all adore her. They couldn’t be happier that he with such a beautiful, caring, and loving woman,” the source said.
Brown and Bongiovi have been dating for a year, and they just celebrated their first anniversary in June. They have also been photographed attending multiple red-carpet events together.
This week, the couple made headlines after they were photographed at a beach in Italy. Brown and Bongiovi are in Italy for a quick summer vacation.
Earlier this week, they were also photographed kissing and canoodling with each other.
In June, Brown also celebrated her 18th birthday at London’s Cirque Le Soir nightclub before heading to SoHo’s Windmill nightclub. For the occasion, the couple dressed up as Barbie and Ken.
Bongiovi also paid tribute to his girlfriend at a time via a post on Instagram. In his caption, he also professed his love for Brown.
Prior to dating Jovi’s son, the young actress was linked to her co-star, Finn Wolfhard. But during her interview with Jakarta Post pre-pandemic, Brown denied the claims.
“While there’s a love story that develops between Mike and Eleven, there are a lot of other types of relationships. Love is whatever you want love to be,” she said.
Brown was also linked to her Enola Homes co-star, Louis Partridge but she once again stressed that they are just friends.
“Louis and I worked very hard at bonding and creating a very close bond so that [the relationship] looked as realistic as possible. And luckily, now he’s just one of my closest friends,” she told Girlfriend magazine two years ago.
Brown dated Jacob Sartorius for 7 months before they called it quits in 2018. On her Instagram Stories, the actress said that the decision to go their separate ways was mutual.
