Vladimir Putin will travel to Iran next week for a Syria summit. He will be joined by other leaders like Ebrahim Raisi and Tayyip Erdogan.
According to a spokesperson, Putin will visit Syria on July 19 and the trip is part of the ongoing peace negotiations to end the ongoing conflict in the Middle Eastern country.
Al Jazeera revealed that Russia and Iran are the two countries that have been providing Syria with military and political support. Turkey, on the other hand, has also provided Syria with military assistance.
Prior to the trip announcement, there were whispers that Russia was planning to provide Iran with hundreds of drones that can carry weapons that they could use in Ukraine.
However, it’s still unclear if Iran already provided drones to Russia. But this latest information suggests that Iran is preparing to train Russian forces starting this month.
“Our information indicates that the Iranian government is preparing to provide Russia with up to several hundred UAVs, including weapons-capable UAVs on an expedited timeline,” US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan said.
Meanwhile, Putin’s upcoming trip to Iran may prove that he’s doing well health-wise. Prior to the announcement, there were rumors that the Russian leader is suffering from multiple health issues.
But if this was the case, it’s unlikely for him to be allowed to travel, especially when it’s overseas.
After all, some of the health problems linked to Putin include cancer of the blood and cancer of the bones, heart issues, stroke, and more.
In fact, a lot of his detractors have been spreading claims about the Russian leader. And they have also been nitpicking on his every move.
At one point, Putin was allegedly spotted shaking while walking. And others also noticed that his face is a bit puffier than usual. More people also claimed that Putin’s arms are of different lengths, which could indicate bone-related issues.
And most recently, the way he gripped a table also made headlines because it seemed as though his veins were about to pop out.
However, none of these claims prove that Putin is sick. And the fact that he can still travel overseas and talk to people face-to-face proves that he’s doing well.
If Putin is sick, his staffers would be the first ones to share his diagnosis with the rest of the world.
