Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly’s relationship has been dubbed as toxic following the latter’s recent revelation.
In the documentary Life in Pink, Kelly revealed that he tried to take his own life while he was on the phone with Fox.
According to Kelly, he found himself in a really dark place following his dad’s death. So, while Fox was in Bulgaria shooting a movie, he called her and told her that he had a shotgun in his mouth.
When Kelly cocked the shotgun, the shell of the bullet got jammed that’s why he didn’t die. He also said that Fox was dead silent at the other end of the line.
Now, Star is claiming that part of Kelly’s struggles has to do with his relationship with Fox. After all, things have gotten so toxic between them because of a slew of jealousy, drama, fights, and make-ups.
A source claimed that the problem with the couple is that they live for the drama.
In fact, it has become a trend between them to doubt each other every time they’re apart.
“She calls over FaceTime so she can see who he’s with. If she doesn’t pick up, MGK will just show up. They say they love each other fiercely but it’s just plain toxic,” the source said.
While it is true that Kelly tried to take his own life while he was on the phone with Fox, it’s not true that the couple has been having problems in their relationship.
In fact, Kelly and Fox have both said nothing but wonderful things about each other.
On the singer’s 32nd birthday, Fox posted a tribute to her fiancé alongside a loved-up photo of the two of them.
“The world has no idea what a gentle, beautiful heart you have. How generous and how thoughtful you are… How absurdly strange and smart and witty you are… You are by far the most unique human I have ever met,” Fox captioned the snap.
Kelly has also been very vocal about his feelings for Fox.
“She didn't let me lead her character too much in any direction. She was like 'I got this. I understand what this character is. She improvised and brought [her character] Kennedy to life, and I've heard a lot of people say that that's their favorite character in the movie,” he said during an interview in March.
