Prince William and Kate Middleton have been making headlines following their appearance at the polo match this week.
Body language expert Judi James was the first to share her observations with regard to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s body language.
While speaking with Daily Mail, James said that Prince William and Middleton were so smitten with each other. In fact, they looked like a young couple on their first date during the recent outing.
After all, Prince William and Middleton were as giddy as ever. And they also stroked each other’s arms on multiple occasions. At one point, the Duke of Cambridge even gave his wife a peck on the cheek.
“Kate’s mimed embrace at the start of the kiss as she throws both arms out to welcome William with the expression of a desire to hug shows how they are tempering or toning down their body language in public. This gesture shows how a full hug would be normal for the couple. The way her legs cross at the ankles. This very girlish gesture suggests she can still get coy when her husband kisses her in public,” she said.
After Prince William’s polo match was over, he and his wife were photographed walking together with their arms wrapped around each other. According to James, this was the moment that made her compare the Cambridges to a young couple on their first date.
The Duke of Cambridge’s polo match was also the first time that royal fans saw their family dog, Orla. She was reportedly given to the Cambridge family by Middleton’s younger brother, James Middleton.
Back in 2020, Prince William and Middleton shared the heartbreaking news of their longtime dog, Lupo passing away. And James tried to ease their sadness by giving them a new family dog.
Orla is a black Cocker Spaniel. And her photos with Middleton show her walking and staring at her fur mom.
Meanwhile, James also compared Prince William and Middleton’s kiss on the cheek with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s PDA.
She told Express that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex seem more passionate with each other in public because they do not shy away from kissing each other on the lips.
The Cambridges, on the other hand, is more formal. But there’s also no doubt how madly in love they are with each other.
