Tom Hanks has allegedly been sparking concerns from his fans after a video of him showing his hands trembling.
Earlier this month, the actor attended the premiere for Elvis and it was then that eagle-eyed fans saw his hands shaking.
“The footage of him shaking was very troubling. And there’s no denying he’s lost a substantial amount of weight in a short amount of time. Privately, the word is he’s OK,” the source told Us Weekly.
Friends and family of Hanks are also worried about the actor because he allegedly tends to push himself too hard. And since he’s not getting any younger, he’s struggling to keep up with what he was able to do.
But even if the actor could allegedly be sick, his mind is still very sharp. The source claimed that Hanks would still do everything to protect his wife, Rita Wilson.
“When someone invades his wife’s space, it’s crossing the line. There are no regrets about the way he handled it,” the source said.
Meanwhile, Hanks also made headlines after he spoke about the success of the hit movie, Forrest Gump. During his interview with Cinema Blend, Hanks said that he wasn’t also very sure about all the scenes that were taken while he was sitting on a park bench.
“I will tell you, in ‘Forrest Gump,’ all the stuff that we shot on the park bench in Savannah, Georgia, we were just shooting fodder for a possible narrative piece of it. And I said to Bob Zemeckis, ‘Is anyone going to care about this nut sitting on a bench? What is this? No one knows what’s in this box,” he said (via Indiewire).
The actor also revealed that he shelled out money for some parts of the movie because he believed in the story of Forrest Gump. And he wasn’t wrong to do so because the movie because such a massive hit.
According to reports, Hanks earned a whopping $65 million for the movie.
Other than this, Hanks also stars in the movie Elvis where he plays the role of Col. Dutch Parker, who managed the late singer’s career for years.
Even though the movie received rave reviews from critics, the Los Angeles Times claimed that this was Hanks's worst acting ever. However, he isn’t entirely to blame because his character wasn’t well-loved.
