Meghan Markle and Prince Harry allegedly experienced "humiliation" after joining the British Royal Family to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II. But, sources later clarified the matter, debunking the whole narrative.
Express UK released a report on what went down, detailing the allegations surrounding the former working royals. As explained, it had something to do with the supposed "snub" of the British Royal Family toward the Sussexes.
A source told National Enquirer that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex "were totally humiliated." While the rest of the royals allegedly snubbed the pair, "the worst blow" was with the British Monarch.
It was claimed that the Queen said "no chance" to the Sussexes when they allegedly requested a photo with her, alongside their youngest child. It was also noted that the pictures "would have been perfect" for their upcoming productions under their deal with Netflix.
What was reportedly humiliating on Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's part was that the bosses over at Netflix were likely "very unhappy."
When asked for a comment, though, no official word has yet to emerge.
The New York Post later debunked the allegations. It said that a source "with knowledge of the situation" clarified the matter and deemed the claims "bunk."
As attested, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex "just enjoyed a private and intimate visit" with Queen Elizabeth II. They did not "even bother asking for photos" as the monarch was not feeling well.
The reputed publication also noted that the original version of the allegation first surfaced in The Sun. Although, the tabloid's unnamed insider did not provide any proof to substantiate the story.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle released a photo of their youngest child after her first birthday, which they celebrated in the United Kingdom. Reports recalled that it is one of the only two photos of the young royal that the former working royals have released since they welcomed her in 2021.
The photo in question was taken during her birthday party at Frogmore Cottage.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex kept the details of the party private. But, royal author Omid Scobie, who is also a friend of the couple, shared some details about the special event on social media.
On Twitter, the “Finding Freedom” author stated that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry “invited close friends and family for an ‘intimate backyard picnic.’”
Scobie also tweeted that a spokesperson for the former working royals noted that the pair “remains incredibly touched by the countless birthday wishes for their daughter.”
