Anna Faris recently opened up about her past marriages. She even revealed what she felt after her first divorce, noting how she did not recognize herself.

People noted that the 45-year-old actress was married to Ben Indra (2004-2008) and Chris Pratt (2009-2018). She shares a son with the Marvel actor after welcoming him in 2012.

Speaking to Chelsea Handler in Thursday’s episode of her “Dear Chelsea” podcast, Faris described herself as a “divorce veteran” as she has done it twice in the past. She also noted that “it hit [her] hard the first time,” adding that she “turned into somebody that [she] did not recognize.”

The “Scary Movie” star recalled how she was “always the kind of person that had their fridge filled.” She looked back on how she used to host “a lot of dinners… back when [she] had friends.”

But, after her divorce from her first husband, Anna Faris revealed that she found herself in her home “with just beer and mustard in the fridge.” She added that she “was going out all the time” and “had no one to text or call and say, ‘hey, can I do this?’ essentially.”

The celebrity continued that it was an “incredibly liberating” time for her. It was as if she “reverted” back to when she was 17.

However, the “Dictator” actress admitted to feeling “terrified” at the time.

The magazine quoted her, saying, “I was terrified that I was not a good lover, especially when I was younger, I was so self-conscious of my body.” She added, “I did not want anybody to see it. But, I would dance on the edges of it. I wanted to be desired desperately.”

Anna Faris tied the knot with Ben Indra in 2004. Us Weekly reported that the two celebrities first met when they worked on their 1999 film, “Lover’s Lane.”

The publication noted that it took the actor twice to propose to her before exchanging vows. However, the actress ended their marriage upon realizing her “growing feelings” for Chris Pratt.

It is noted that the “House Bunny” star met the “Guardians of the Galaxy” actor on the set of “Take Me Home Tonight” in 2007. They reportedly developed a close friendship at the time, leading to their relationship after Faris ended her first marriage.

The two stars eventually wedded in 2009 and welcomed their child in 2012. But, the pair announced their separation in 2017, saying, “We still have love for each other, will always cherish our time together and continue to have the deepest respect for one another.”

To date, Anna Faris is married to Michael Barrett. They decided to elope earlier in 2021.
