Michelle Obama is urging all Americans to exercise their right to vote.
During her speech at the Culture of Democracy Summit, she said that there’s no reason for Americans not to vote.
“No one has the luxury to sit out or stay at home just because you’re not feeling excited enough. If you don’t vote, other people will,” she said (via Fox News).
Obama launched We All Vote, a voting registration campaign in 2018, to encourage everyone to exercise their freedom of speech. However, it has been concerning not just for the ex-FLOTUS but also for the other leaders how the number of voters decreased in recent years.
“I have said it before, but it's important for us all to remember it's not just about who you vote for. It's not about whether you're a Republican, Democrat, or independent. This is so much bigger than that because right now when we look around at everything that is happening with voting and our democracy, it is clear that we're seeing a deep discrepancy between what we tell ourselves about this country and what we see with our own eyes,” she said.
Meanwhile, Obama also made headlines recently amid rumors that she has the eyes for Formula One racer Lewis Hamilton.
According to Globe, the former first lady has also been thinking about getting plastic surgery to improve her looks and attract Hamilton. And when her husband, Barack found out, he became enraged.
The former president doesn’t allegedly want the world to laugh at his wife because of the way she would look after her surgery. After all, even the best plastic surgeons cannot guarantee the best results.
What’s worse is that Barack still wants to make his marriage work even though he knows that Michelle no longer feels the same about him.
However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt.
There’s no proof that Barack and Michelle have been having problems in their marriage. It’s not also true that Michelle has a crush on Hamilton to the point that she wants to change her appearance for him.
It’s unclear why Michelle is being linked to the Formula One racer. In fact, just weeks ago, another tabloid claimed that the former first lady couldn’t contain her happiness with the racer and gave her a tight hug.
