Prince George and Princess Charlotte have very different personalities, but they support each other to the core.
A source told New Idea that the royal siblings are both aware that Prince George is the future king of Britain. Even though they initially had a hard time understanding what this meant, Prince George and Princess Charlotte eventually understood that there was something special about the former.
As such, even though Princess Charlotte is more confident and has a cheekier personality compared to Prince George, she made sure not to outshine her older brother.
“It’s obvious from the way Charlotte looks at George that she loves him dearly. Having Charlotte around helps ease the prince’s nerves and take some of the pressure off – plus, she seems to love it,” the source said.
The source also said that when Prince George turned 7 years old, Prince William and Kate Middleton sat him down and explained to him what his future would be like.
“William and Kate have already talked to George about his future roles. George knows there’s something special about him and that one day he’ll be the future king of England,” the source said.
During the queen’s Platinum Jubilee, Prince George was in his best behavior throughout the four-day event. And the same can be said about his younger sister.
In fact, Princess Charlotte seemed a tad bit too observant when she corrected Prince George while they were singing the National Anthem. The 7-year-old also guided Prince Louis during their carriage ride to Buckingham Palace.
However, it was the 4-year-old that made headlines following the queen’s Platinum Jubilee. After all, Prince Louis received a slew of mixed reactions from the public after he was spotted misbehaving during some of the events.
During the Trooping the Colour, Prince Louis was spotted looking as bored as ever. He also couldn’t stay still. And he even made faces and covered his ears at one point.
Prince Louis also misbehaved during the pageant show. And he was seen making faces at his mom and refusing to listen to her.
In order to control him, Prince William urged Prince Louis to sit on Prince Charles’ lap. And this kept him entertained for a few minutes before he acted out again.
The controversial outing resulted in royal fans slamming the Cambridges for failing to handle their youngest child.
