Rob Kardashian is sparking rumors that he’s in hiding.
The former reality TV star did not attend Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker’s wedding in Italy, which was a huge shock for his fans. After all, they were hoping to finally see him after years of avoiding the spotlight.
But in its June 13 issue, Us Weekly claimed that Rob refused to attend his sister’s wedding because he’s scared of being seen in public. As such, fans can technically conclude that he’s in hiding.
“Rob has created this monster of being so scared to be seen that he can’t attend any public family functions. It’s been too long at this point. Rob feels like when he goes somewhere it’s such a huge deal, and that’s the opposite of what he wants,” the source said.
Another source revealed that Rob really wanted to attend his sister’s wedding in Italy, but he didn’t also like to get all the attention. After all, he considers himself a private individual following the end of his relationship with Blac Chyna, as well as his appearances in Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
The source also claimed that Dream Kardashian’s dad prefers low-key celebrations where there are no cameras or photographers. After all, he doesn’t really like being in the spotlight so Kourtney and Barker’s wedding would’ve been too much for him to handle.
According to the insider, Rob supported the couple from afar. And his love for Kourtney never changed even though he skipped her wedding.
“He loves his sister very much and is so happy for her and Travis. He will celebrate with her in Los Angeles. He also hopped on FaceTime to chat with his sisters while they were in Italy,” the source said.
Rob has not been seen in public for years. But he recently made headlines after his mom and sisters testified on his behalf in court and countered Chyna’s allegations against their family.
Chyna claimed that the Kardashian-Jenner clan asked E! network to cancel Rob & Chyna to spite her. But Rob’s family testified that this wasn’t the case. And a rep for the network also said that the reality TV show spinoff was canceled because Rob and Chyna already called it quits.
After winning the case, the Kardashian-Jenner clan thanked their legal team for all their support.
