Pete Davidson may not be as wealthy as Kim Kardashian, but he has succeeded in increasing his net worth over the years. Reports even said he is worth four times what he was four years ago.
Earlier this year, Cosmopolitan released a report on the matter, detailing the comedian’s wealth and ventures. It noted that his worth “quadrupled” from 2018 to 2022.
As of today, Davidson has a net worth of $8 million. This is four times more than what he had in 2018, which reportedly was $2 million, per Celebrity Net Worth.
It was also suggested that the 28-year-old celebrity could further increase his wealth in the next few years. It said that as long as he keeps up with this rate, he could likely manage to quadruple it again after four years.
The same publication went on to share the potential ways Pete Davidson has grown his wealth four times in the last four years. It began with his stint on “Saturday Night Live” as one of the show’s main players.
As stated, the comedian was earning about $15,000 per episode or approximately $315,000 a year from the show in 2018. It is reportedly likely that he got a raise in the last four years, although this remains to be a mere speculation.
The report continued that Davidson also did several projects in small and big screens. He played parts for “The Suicide Squad,” “Meet Cute,” "Trainwreck," and “The Things They Carried,” to name a few.
He has his own materials, as well, like “Pete Davidson: Alive From New York” and “King of Staten Island.”
On top of these ventures, the “SNL” player also has had numerous endorsement deals with various brands and labels in the last few years. These include Smartwater, Moose Knuckles, and Calvin Klein, according to The Richest.
Recently, though, Pete Davidson left his post on “Saturday Night Live.” He first announced his exit on social media more than a week ago.
CBS News stated that the comedian posted a lengthy message on Instagram using "SNL" writer Dave Sirus’ official account, and accompanied it with a video of him hugging Jerrod Carmichael. It served as his confirmation regarding his exit before making his final appearance on the sketch comedy show the following day.
It is unclear, however, why Davidson decided to leave the show after eight seasons. But, there have been talks and speculations as of late that he will likely focus on his other projects.
