Prince William and Kate Middleton recently received some good words from a former royal aide to the late Princess Diana. As claimed, the royal-born Prince has found his “savior” in his wife, the future Queen Consort.
Speaking to OK! magazine, Pauk Burrell asserted that the Duchess of Cambridge makes her husband “melt.” He added that this has been the reason why he calls her the Duke of Cambridge’s “savior” behind closed doors, according to Express UK.
The former royal butler continued that the future King “can get on the floor” and “be more natural” with his three children in private. He reportedly noted that this is what Kate Middleton sees in her husband and what the public could not.
Burrell also offered some pieces of advice to Prince William during the engagement. He stated that the royal-born Prince “needs to smile more,” adding that he wants him “to warm up a bit.”
The former royal aide countered, though, that the Duke of Cambridge cannot “change his personality.” Nevertheless, he believes that the royal “has always been very measured,” “very careful,” “safe.”
The publication reported that the late Princess of Wales’ former butler’s claims came after the Cambridge couple’s recent appearances on official events. As noted, the senior working royals have stepped up further into the “royal limelight” ahead of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
Earlier last week, a royal author also spoke to OK! magazine to discuss Prince William and Kate Middleton. Express UK covered the matter and released a report, noting that it was about the pair’s relationship.
As stated, royal author Andrew Morton told the magazine that “nobody in the Royal Household expected” the pair would last after graduating from the university. Similar to “most college romances,” they allegedly believe the link would “disintegrate under the intense security of jobs and geography.”
On the other hand, though, Queen Elizabeth II was said to have treated the relationship of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge “in a very different way.” She had reportedly done so “after it became clear [the couple’s] bond would last.”
Prince William and Kate Middleton have come a long way since their university days. Apart from reaching a new relationship milestone after celebrating their 11th wedding anniversary last month, alongside their three children, they have also become today’s most popular British Royals after Queen Elizabeth II.
In recent exclusive poll for Express UK, 79 percent of the 1,624 participants viewed the Duke of Cambridge in a positive light. As for his wife, the Duchess of Cambridge received a 74-percent approval rating.
