Prince George and Princess Charlotte are allegedly looking forward to their playdate with their cousins, Archie and Lilibet Diana.
In its May 23 issue, Woman’s Day claimed that Prince George and Princess Charlotte were beside themselves when Prince William and Kate Middleton told them the news.
The upcoming playdate will serve as Prince George and Princess Charlotte’s first-time meeting with Lilibet Diana and their first reunion with Archie since 2020.
“George and Charlotte remember how excited everyone was when Archie was born, and George was a big fan of Uncle Harry, so they’re thrilled. Charlotte’s telling everyone she can’t wait to show Archie and Lili around Kensington Palace if they visit,” the source said.
As of late, it has already been confirmed that Prince Harry and Markle will bring their two children with them when they visit the royal family next month.
However, there’s no official report regarding the cousins’ playdate. And even if something is being planned behind closed doors, it’s unlikely for royal fans to find out about it before it takes place.
Meanwhile, it is possible for Prince Harry and Markle to plan something special for their daughter while they are in the United Kingdom. After all, Lilibet Diana will turn 1 year old on June 4. And the queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations all fall on this day.
However, it is important to note that the royal family’s appearance on the balcony will take place on June 2. So, Lilibet’s birthday celebration will most likely be done privately, according to The News.
In related news, all sorts of rumors have surrounded the young royals. Months ago, multiple tabloids claimed that Prince George and Princess Charlotte expressed their desire to reunite with Prince Harry and his children.
On another occasion, some tabloids alleged that Prince George and Princess Charlotte always talk to Archie and Lilibet on a video call.
However, none of these claims are true. And even if they are, Prince George and Princess Charlotte’s conversations with their cousins are done privately. So, there’s no way for tabloids to know about it.
Additionally, Prince George and Princess Charlotte didn’t really grow up with their cousins around. After all, Archie was barely a year old when he moved to the United States. So, it’s unclear if they are even close to each other in the first place.
