Nadia Ferreira recently confirmed her engagement with Marc Anthony. It came days after she was seen sporting a sparkler on her ring finger.
On Thursday, the 23-year-old model shared with her fans and followers that she is set to marry her partner and now-fiancé. Page Six said that she took the confirmation to Instagram, posting a photo of the band with the caption, “Engagement party!!!”
The former Miss Universe Paraguay also tagged Anthony in the story, alongside a ring emoji. The 53-year-old singer’s hand could be seen, as well, in the picture with a black tattoo on his ring finger.
Marc Anthony and Nadia Ferreira celebrated the relationship milestone upon confirmation before the public. They were reportedly with friends and family members in Miami.
Sources told Page Six that the twosome, along with their guests, intended to celebrate the young model’s birthday. But, the event turned into an engagement party, adding that the newly engaged couple “looked over-the-moon happy.”
The same informants stated that the former beauty queen was “beaming ear to ear” during the special day. She was also said to be “wearing wedding white” at the time.
Guests later on allegedly sang “Happy Birthday” to Ferreira, who turned 23 earlier this week. She even received a cake from the group.
It is unclear when the two celebrities began their relationship. But, reports recalled that they first sparked dating rumors when they had a getaway in Mexico City earlier this year.
Marc Anthony and Nadia Ferreira became “Instagram official” in March. The “Need to Know” singer posted the photo of him and his partner on the platform at the time. He captioned it with, “May God multiply all that you wish us.”
The engagement is the model’s first, while the fifth for the singer. He first got down on one knee in the late 1990s during his relationship with Claudette Lali. But, they called it quits in 1998 before tying the knot.
Marc Anthony first tied the knot in 2000 with Dayana Torres. They welcomed two children, but the marriage ended in 2003.
In 2004, the award-winning artist married Jennifer Lopez, with whom he shares twins. He filed for divorce in 2012, about a year after announcing their separation.
Anthony got married for the third time in 2014 with his then-partner, Shannon de Lima. The marriage lasted only for two years, according to Pop Sugar.
Meanwhile, his former wife, Lopez, has also gotten engaged to Ben Affleck. The celebrity couple were previously set to marry each other before calling it off in 2004.
