There are some films and roles that Tom Hardy would never do. He is said to be aware of his place in Hollywood, which is why some characters would not make sense for him.
The actor previously talked about the matter in a 2017 interview with Vanity Fair. Cheat Sheet recently released a report, detailing the celebrity’s assertions.
The “Peaky Blinders” alum stated that some of the roles he would not play include “a single dad… trying to find a partner on Match.com.” The same, also, goes for a “chisel-jawed guy in a rubber suit wielding a mighty electric stick at some flying goblin.”
At one point, Tom Hardy reportedly shared that he is drawn to characters and roles that would allow him to “explore darkness.” As added, he even finds “classic heroes to be suspicious,” saying, “a great mask belies, probably, even darker, more insidious stuff in my experience.”
The “Venom” star began his career in the entertainment industry as a model. He, then, starred in HBO’s mini-series, “Band of Brothers” in 1998.
It was not until 2001 that he had his film debut in Ridley Scott’s “Black Hawk Down.” He has since continued to work on numerous films and movies, as well as series.
To date, there are more than 50 titles credited to his name for both films and television shows. He has, also, produced and co-written some materials over the years.
Earlier this week, it has been learned that Tom Hardy will reprise his role as Eddie Brock or Venom. Pinkvilla reported that Sony confirmed the matter upon featuring “Venom 3” in the reel, showcasing the studio’s upcoming projects, at this year’s CinemaCon.
While the award-winning actor is returning to continue to play the part, no other information has been provided regarding the third film to the franchise. Fans and followers have yet to know who will direct the material or who will join the cast.
But, there have reportedly been speculations that he might meet Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Spider-Man in the upcoming “Venom” film. This comes after Hardy’s Venom made a cameo in the post-credits scene of “Spider-Man: No Way Home.”
Late last week, witnesses spotted Tom Hardy in London as he stepped out for a training session. He was carrying a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu belt on his way to a martial arts gym, according to Mail Online.
The “Dark Knight Rises” actor, at one point, stopped to talk to a neighbor, with whom he shared a few laughs on the street. As reported, he bumped into him as he walked toward the gym.
