Khloe Kardashian shed tears when Travis Barker spilled the meaningful details of his proposal to Kourtney Kardashian.
The International News reported that the encounter was featured in the new episode of the family’s new reality show, “The Kardashians,” on Hulu. In it, the Blink-182 drummer explained why he chose to pop the question to his partner on October 17.
Barker told the Good American founder that “17th is the first day” they hung out. He noted that he has been “madly in love with Kourtney forever,” adding that he shared the same thing with the family’s matriarch, Kris Jenner.
The artist continued that Kardashian is his “soulmate” and he would like to propose to her “on the day that I first was with her.” Khloe Kardashian, then, broke into tears and stated that she is “so happy” because her older sister is “going to be so happy.”
The mom of one consequently revealed that she does not cry. But, she was in tears at the time because she is “happy,” adding that it was “weird” for her.
Khloe Kardashian, later on, shared that she did not cry when she got engaged. Nevertheless, she is “happy” for her sister because “she has never wanted to get married” but “she does now with [Travis Barker].”
On October 17, 2021, Travis Barker asked Kourtney Kardashian’s hand in marriage. He popped the question at the Rosewood Miramar Beach Hotel, according to Page Six.
The artist had an elaborate display of red roses and white candles. He and the Poosh founder were surrounded by it when he asked her to marry him.
Kardashian confirmed the engagement later on the same day after posting photos from the proposal on social media. The Blink-182 drummer shared a similar post on his own accounts, leading many individuals to congratulate them, including their respective families.
Reports said that Kim Kardashian was present at the venue. It was unclear, though, whether Khloe Kardashian and the rest of the family were, also, there to witness the relationship milestone.
Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker have since faced wedding rumors and speculations. They have remained tight-lipped, though, with regard to their plans about the special day.
The celebrity pair, then, shocked the world when news broke that they had tied the knot in Las Vegas earlier this month. People said that the ceremony took place hours after attending the Grammys in Sin City.
Barker and Kardashian confirmed the nuptials days after it happened. But, they, also, noted that they went through it without a marriage certificate, making it not a legally binding ceremony.
