Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are allegedly busy planning their second wedding.

In its April 25 issue, OK! magazine claimed that Shelton and Stefani have always wanted to have a huge wedding. But because of COVID-19, they only invited a few guests when they tied the knot in Oklahoma last year.

But now that restrictions have been lifted, the couple wants to have a second wedding. And they also plan to invite all their family and friends.

A source claimed that Shelton and Stefani’s wedding became an awkward gathering because there were only a few people there. And everyone knows that the couple has hundreds of friends combined.

“Now, things are better Covid-wise so they want to fix that by having a huge second wedding at the ranch over the long Fourth of July weekend,” the source said.

The source added that planning a wedding has been a wonderful distraction for Shelton and Stefani. After all, the couple has been butting heads in recent months.

“They’ve had their issues over where they’re going to live full-time, Gwen’s neat-freak ways at home, and Blake’s feelings about converting to Catholicism, but focusing on this has brought them closer. Getting hitched again is a great way to celebrate that,” the source said.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt.

As of late, there’s no proof that Stefani and Shelton are planning a second wedding just for the sake of their family and friends.

Prior to their nuptials, Stefani revealed that the only person that she wanted to be at her wedding was her mom. And this was also why she and Shelton didn’t immediately tie the knot at the height of COVID-19.

But when things eased down a bit, the No Doubt singer immediately wed Shelton with her mom around.

It’s not also true that Stefani and Shelton have been butting heads. Several tabloids have been making this allegation, but no one has been able to prove that this is accurate.

For instance, National Enquirer recently claimed that Stefani stopped wearing her wedding ring because she and Shelton are not on good terms.

“Gwen thinks Blake is getting a little too complacent, especially by letting his body go to pot. He packed on more than 30 pounds during the pandemic, and he’s made little to no effort to shed it,” the source said.

However, this is far from the truth. Stefani herself admitted that she forgot to wear her wedding ring and it wasn’t anything malicious.
