Meghan Markle is scheduled to drop the first episode from her podcast, Archetypes in the summer.
In its April 18 issue, Heat UK claimed that Markle will use the platform to settle the score between her and the royal family.
“Meghan knows there is a lot riding on this podcast after signing such a huge deal with Spotify. She wants to speak about the things that are important to her and correct the wrongs that she feels have been done against her. She’s proven over the past few years that she’s not afraid to upset those in power and that won’t change. Being popular is not her main aim. She knows she’ll get criticism for whatever she says, so she wants her truth out there even if it means ruffling more feathers, especially in royal circles,” the source said.
The insider claimed that one of the things that Markle would tackle in her podcast is her relationship with Kate Middleton.
Last year, she told Oprah Winfrey that the rumors about her making the Duchess of Cambridge cry weren’t true. In fact, it was the other way around.
Prince Harry’s wife also said that she and Middleton are already on good terms. And the latter even apologized to her and sent her flowers following the incident.
But even if this was the case, no one seemed to believe Markle. So, she will allegedly use her new podcast to go into detail about what really transpired between her and her sister-in-law.
“Meghan still feels angry about the way Kate is treated by the British public and media, compared to the criticism she gets. It’s like Kate can do no wrong and although Meghan has addressed some of their issues, she still feels hurt and let down by Kate and the rest of the royal family. She feels she wasn’t given enough support by everyone when she first met Harry, and it’s something that still upsets her to this day,” the source said.
As of late, details about Markle’s podcast have not yet been released. But by the looks of it, the Duchess of Sussex will use it to tackle important issues and not her alleged feud with the royal family and Middleton.
As such, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. Markle and Middleton have already buried the hatchet so there’s no reason for the former to discuss the incident that happened four years ago in detail once again.
