Russian leader Vladimir Putin was allegedly diagnosed with cancer.

In its April 18 issue, Globe claimed that Putin’s puffy face is proof that he’s been undergoing chemotherapy and battling terminal bowel cancer.

“Putin knows that he is dying and wants to leave behind a historical legacy. His solemn expression is also said to be a sign that he is in constant pain. In the past, we have seen him smile but in 2022 there are few pictures of him looking happy,” a source said.

The insider added that Putin has not been smiling in photographs or in interviews because he’s in so much pain.

“His look suggests he is in pain and our people suggest his angry look is most likely a result of him being in agony,” the source said.

Another proof that Putin is suffering from cancer is allegedly the fact that he doesn’t interact with his aides in close range. Photos show Putin sitting at one end of a long table while discussing important matters with his staff.

Since the Russian president’s immune system is low, he doesn’t allegedly stay in close range with anyone.

“Our people are confident he is ill. He is concerned about COVID as he keeps his staff at a distance. This man has been in complete isolation, quite extraordinary, won’t see anybody, stays miles away amid tremendous pressures. Which indicates he’s probably on a steroid and probably chemo, maybe a combination of both,” the source said.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt.

As of late, there’s no proof that Putin is dealing with a serious ailment let alone cancer. There are so many reasons why the leader’s face looks puffy and it’s possible that he gained some weight. But the puffiness of his face hasn’t been alarming, to say the least.

It’s not also true that he sits at the end of a long table so that he won’t compromise his immune system. Since he’s the leader, he usually sits at the end of the table and away from his staff. This is a common practice among leaders.

By the looks of it, the tabloid is just making up stories about the Russian president to make it seem as though he’s unhealthy and unfit to lead the country.

The timing of the rumor is also suspicious because of the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine.
