Tristan Thompson has filed a libel lawsuit against Kimberly Alexander, who the 29-year-old basketball player describes as a wannabe social media influencer, pornographic performer, and model. Aside from that, the accuser is been deemed as someone desperately trying to get her 15 minutes of fame, which is why she made up a false claim that the NBA star is the father of her 4-year-old son.
According to the Cleveland Cavaliers' power forward, he is not the father of the child. Nevertheless, he visited a reputable, accredited DNA lab and even took a paternity test earlier this year. The lawsuit says that the result confirmed that Thompson is not the father of Alexander’s child.
The paperwork shows Thompson's attorney Marty Singer alleging Alexander of publicly announcing that the NBA star is the father of her child and also accused him of being a deadbeat dad. Alexander says Thompson neglected and failed to take financial responsibility for the child since he was born.
Singer deems these statements absolutely false and calls them defamatory. Quoting the King of Pop, Michael Jackson, singer jokes "the kid is not [his] son." In the lawsuit, the lawyer claims that Alexander isn't willing to accept the results of the basketball player's DNA test. Alexander went as far as accusing Khloé Kardashian of changing the results.
The lawyers deem that statement a malicious lie as well. Thompson is now seeking unspecified damages from the accuser while demanding a trial by jury. Alexander told E! News that Thompson went to a Kardashian-associated DNA testing facility, demanding he visits a neutral testing site instead.
Reminding Thompson of what happened between them; Alexander continues to insist he is her child's father. Thompson is the father of a 3-year-old son Prince with Jordan Craig and has a 2-year-old daughter True with Kardashian, whom he started dating in Sep. 2016 before throwing in the towel in Feb. last year.
This left Khloe no choice but to get involved in her ex-boyfriend's paternity drama. The 35-year-old KUWTK star who believes that family matters decided to defend the father of her daughter. Kimberly has accused Khloe of paying to make sure the test came back negative.
A source told Us Weekly that Khloe decided to get involved because the accuser was directly attacking her and making claims that suggested she manipulated the paternity test results. Tristan has claimed that Kimberly has not only falsely accused him, but others including Khloe of acting on his behalf.
In an attempt to clear his name, Tristan has requested a trial by jury in the court documents. The NBA star is claiming damages against the accuser, who he says fabricated an entirely false claim that he fathered her son.
