Ellen DeGeneres, Whoopi Goldberg, Dr. Phil McGraw, and Tucker Carlson are just some of the TV personalities in Hollywood that have a negative reputation.
In its March 28 issue, National Enquirer claimed that all four personalities have been dubbed as Hollywood’s most hated stars and for entirely different reasons.
DeGeneres, for instance, used to be well-loved in Hollywood. But this changed after several former The Ellen Show staff came forward with allegations of bullying. They also claimed that there’s a toxic work environment on set.
“Ellen’s show went from landmark to landmine. She’s still bitter over it. People around her have long thought of her as a two-faced manipulator who kisses up to her celebrity friends on the show and treats the workers behind the scenes like dirt. She won’t be missed,” the source said.
Goldberg, on the other hand, has been upsetting her colleagues because even after she made comments about the Nazis, she still managed to return to The View.
“She’s been strutting around like a peacock because she knows she’s unfireable at this point. Her co-hosts are fed up with her bossy ways and would like to see her gone though they wouldn’t dare say it to her face,” the source said.
Former staff members have also been accusing Dr. Phil of traumatizing him because of his questionable behavior. But even if this is the case, he’s still in the business.
“A lot of people despise him and say he manipulated and mistreated guests who were already in a fragile state of mind when they got to the show,” the source said.
And then there’s Carlson, who has been commenting on some of the biggest issues to boost the ratings of his FOX show.
The source claimed that the host couldn’t care less about what his haters would say about him.
“Tucker doesn’t care if people hate him. He has no trouble firing verbal rockets at people whether they be his guests, his producers, or the lowliest production assistant. The host thinks he’s doing the network a favor and takes credit for the high ratings. Of course, if ratings slip a little, it’s someone else fault,” the source said.
However, it is important to note that the tabloid is just the only one making all these criticisms against the hosts. They did not talk to insiders that may have first-hand experience with the A-listers.
