Barack Obama is allegedly seething after learning that his daughters, Malia and Sasha are being scouted to star in a reality TV show in Los Angeles.
In its March 21 issue, OK! magazine claimed that Malia and Sasha relocating to Los Angeles has paved the way for them to receive countless TV offers.
“Tinseltown has been calling ever since they both relocated to LA. It’s crystal clear they would be rating gold, and there’s a growing belief that they’re open to offers,” the source said.
The insider claimed that Barack’s eldest child, Malia is still figuring out what she really wants to do even though she’s working as a staff writer on Donald Glover’s new show.
Sasha is also facing the same predicament after she transferred to USC.
“She is still figuring out what she wants to do. However, being in LA has definitely got her thinking about getting into the business. The sisters would never sign on for anything trashy, but they could bite if they got the right pitch for something tasteful,” the source said.
But Barack and Michelle have allegedly been stopping their daughters from agreeing to appear on television.
“The last thing Barack wants is cameras following his girls around. The potential for embarrassment is huge!” the source said.
Meanwhile, Globe also published a similar story about Malia and Sasha. The tabloid claimed that Barack and Michelle are not necessarily on the same page when it comes to their daughters’ television careers.
After all, the ex-FLOTUS is allegedly more open to giving Malia and Sasha her blessing to appear in a reality TV show as long as the project won’t be too cheesy.
A source also claimed that Malia and Sasha are open to all sorts of offers especially now that they are still figuring out what they want to do.
“They’re both hugely ambitious, love living in LA, and are well-versed in coping with the limelight and using their connections to get ahead. They are both very headstrong and for the most part, they do what they want and their parents have to accept it,” the source said.
However, one should take the tabloids’ claims with a grain of salt.
As of late, there’s no indication that Malia and Sasha have been receiving offers to star on a reality TV show.
