She reportedly shared with her audience that she had arrived at a place in her life where she is “great” on her own. She, also, believed that “amazing things happen” to a person once they get to that point of their lives.

The “Marry Me” actress is, then, said to have loved the life she is living today. She allegedly “feels content” despite her ties with A-Rod not working out.

The same publication, later on, unearthed a similar statement Jennifer Lopez shared in a 2015 interview. She told Us Weekly that there is “more freedom” when one is single.

As explained, the “Love Don’t Cost A Thing” singer was single at the time. She was divorced from her third husband, Marc Anthony, with whom she shares two children.

JLo noted that “being single is good” because there is “nobody to answer to,” thus, allowing one to do whatever they want. But, she emphasized that she would not go “wild” or anything of the like.

The latest report comes nearly a year after Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez called it quits. In April of 2021, they confirmed their split via joint statement, according to Glamour.

The former celebrity couple shared that they had realized they were “better as friends and look forward to remaining” as such. Moreover, they insisted that they would continue to “work together and support each other” on their shared projects and businesses. 

The end of their romance came after four years of dating and two years of engagement. While they did not disclose the specific reasons behind the split, several cheating rumors emerged weeks prior to the breakup.

In the weeks that followed, romance speculations involving Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck began to make headlines. Although sources were claiming that they had rekindled their relationship at the time, it was not until a few months later that they seemingly publicized their second try at love.

Throughout the rest of the year, witnesses spotted the two celebrities together on various occasions. They have since continued to move forward with their romance while keeping all the details under wraps.

The songstress recently explained why they are trying to keep their relationship private these days. She said that they learned from their past, adding that love is "sacred and special," so they have to "hold a little bit of that privacy."
